Gateway M520 Stuck in hibernation

My note book stays in standby mode no mater what I do. I have tried to recalibrate the battery. Nothing seems to work, it did it once or twice and would boot after I messed with removing the battery and power supply then reconnect. Now it only starts up after hours of fiddling with it. It starts to power up then goes dirrectly into standby mode. The thing is only 3 months old.

    hmmm..... not sure, but I will look into it. Hopefully someone will have solved this issue... anyone? :scratch:

    Errr what do you mean do you mean when it goes into standby mode its not waking up or do you mean its not posting and your getting it confusing with standby mode. (no video when you turn it on)

    If you haven't already:

    Try hard shutting it off (hold the power button for a full 5 seconds)
    Let it sit for a few minutes
    Turn it back on.

    Same result can be achieved by removing the battery and unplugging the AC Adapter (I wouldn't reccomend this, but if you want to try it, YMMV)
    Then reconnect and power back on.
