System Restore Problem
Hi,
I recently picked up the "Home Search Assistant" malware and a number of Trojans. I think I have removed the HSA after reading some other people's HJT logs and using the HSA remove program you have posted a link to on your site. I have my old homepage back at least. The Trojans seemed to have been removed using Kasperspy AV trial addition.
The problem I still have is that after a couple of re-boots or prolonged use over some hours my computer starts to run really slowly. My internet connection is also blocked (even though I can still play online with my Xbox) and only after a couple of reboots will it be re-instated. This happens consistently and when I try to perform a system restore it won't let me. It just says that it has not been possible to restore my computer and therefore no settings have been changed.
Could I still have some virus/spyware on my machine? Please help.
I have run Adaware 1.06SE personal and Spy Bot S&D 1.3. Nothing found.
I have also run AVG and Kasperspy AV. Nothing found
Here is my HJT log;
