Hey, I have a problem with my wireless network in my house. There are 2 computer in my house, and 1 xbox on the wireless network. Everything worked fine up until a few days ago when I unplugged my network adapter for xbox. Then when I put it back in, and then while playing on xbox live I started to lag horribly and I couldn't even play. So then I was messing around with my settings, and I realized that my IP address switched with what used to be the ip address from my computer.

So basically my xbox, and my pc swapped ip addresses, and now it lags horribly and I cant get a good connection. Is there a way to switch them back to how they used to be? thanks im not very good with networking so im not sure.

O yea and i forgot to add that after I realized the IP addresses switched, a message popped up on my computer say "IP conflict" or something like that.

Unplug your router, restart your computer, and turn off your XBox. Plug your router back in, and turn your PC back on. Turn your XBox back on. That should hopefully reset IP's so there are no conflicts.

Nvm I figured it out. I went into my network's configuration and deleted the IP addresses that were in conflict, and then it just re-assigned them. It works great again. thanks anyway
