Unlock a stupid yahoo game.
Hi,
Background.
I downloaded the 1 hour demo of Luxor for wife from yahoo games, she liked it so we bought the full version. A week later my C drive died, installed a new drive and reinstaledl all my software.
I redownloaded Luxor and clicked the 'I have already purchased the game' button. It wanted a transaction code that was on an email that was lost on the old drive. Anyway to cut a long story short, after filling in a support form, I was sent a new key. The new key doesn't work, it gives me an error 'the key is broken'. Four emails later they are telling me to update my drivers, I know for a fact it has nothing to do with my drivers. I uninstalled everything to do with the game, even ran regedit to get it all out and redownloaded it. When it starts now it says 'time expired', I don't get the free 1 hour. This makes me think there is still a file somewhere that still has the old key and is blocking me. Any suggestions? I have deleted all folders, ran search and regedit and can't find anything else but there must be something hidden.

Might be something lurking in application data
Pretty ****ty software development there. I hate it when companies implement these complicated protection schemes that dont work. I mean is there really that much fear of rampant Luxor piracy to warrant so much hassle?
I tried googleing boonty secure but found nothing.
good luck.
