New graphics card today...

Got me a new graphics card today at Fry's, needed something right away. I hope I got a good one, it's a PNY GeForce 6200 AGP8X. It was $129 if I recall. I got it for my other system which I use to run Windows 98 and some older games of mine, but it also dual boots windows 2000 for other games I might want to play along with being a secondary system for my 3D modeling and other goodies.

Is this a good price for my card? Should I have gone with a better one? How's it compair to what it replaced... a Radeon 9700 Pro(which was bad).

The 6200 is much slower then the 9700pro.

This is almost two years old, but if you can figure out where the (newer) 6200 fits in on the scale you'll have a good idea.

Courtesy of Thrax, it's been my video card bible since he posted it.

I can't tell really, generally I somewhat see. But I can't tell if my card is even better than a 5200FX.

While looking on the futuremark ORB I found that the 6200 is indeed faster than a 9700 Pro :D
