Hijack getting deleted upon extraction

I hit a very bad site (crackspider) which has banged me up with lotsa spyware and other malwares. Now I'm into extermination mode

The problem I have is every time I download Hijack (from this site, for example) and extract it, my Macafee believes (?) that it's infected and deletes it.

What is going on?

Mcafee is prone to doing that. There's nothing malicious about Hijackthis. Just disable Mcafee while you are using Hijackthis.
