I'm hopefully upgrading at the end of the month & I can't decide which would be the best board to get so can I some opinions please. It goes without I saying I WILL be overclocking the sh!t out of it.

With that said I say go with the DFI also. Especially if you have some TCCD to go in it. then crank 'er up apply the volts and let it fly! :D

    Jim,
I have had my moments of frustration like a lot of the LP NF4 owners but it is all worth it. Also, once you find the sweet spot they are very solid and well manered boards

Yep I got some good Patriot XBLK to go in there, that'll do at least 290fsb. I also see from your comments that it's no different to the LP Ultra B then. :)

    Cheers guys, DFI it is.

    Jim,

Isn't the Patriot XLB TCCD and the XLBK TCC5???

Not as far as I'm aware Larry. My stuff was bought a while back & I've had the heat spreaders off to confirm it's TCCD. The newer stuff may have gone over to TCC5 but I couldn't say for sure tbh.

For tight timings at lower fsb speeds I've also got some new TwinMos Speed Premium BH-5 to try out.

The DFI Ultra-D is a great board. I've had my share of frustrations as well, but overall, it's been very stable, and really lets you push the envilope.
