Computer crashes...

Hello Short-media:

I am having trouble with computer crashes and the microsoft website only suggests a number of options but cant tell me whats wrong. The last crash I had I went to event viewer and this is what it said:

    I'm guessing virus/spyware. Did you install anything or was anything done to your system before this happened?
