Any help on this matter would be much appreciated. I am unable to download torrent files and have no clue what to do. I have being using Azureus and the problems seemed to start when an update became available and yet I couldn't dl it. I initially opted out of the update because I was doing something else but all subsequent attempts to dl anything result in nothing. I tried Bitcomet and bit Bittornado but they make no difference. Please help

For Azureus, have you updated your Java release? I had the same problem and that fixed it when Azureus updated. You can find it here:

Thanks for the reply. I tried updating Java and while it did need to be done it hasn't made any difference. When I try to download it just says connecting to tracker and nothing else happens. I've given it plenty of time but it doesn't make any difference. Any further suggestions?

have you got the right ports open? (assuming you're using a firewall or router) or is your ISP being annoying and capping BT speeds? 'cause thats what i hear mine is doing >.< but hey i;d rather use IRC anyways ^^

    PKO,
you said it used to work fine, but now it doesn't? If so, did you change anything at all recently?

No thats the weird thing. I went on holiday and downloaded some music before I left and when I came back 2 weeks later it refuses to work. As I initially said I Azureus wouldn't update properly so I uninstalled it and dl'ed the updated version and then dl'ed the new Java as you suggested. Although nothing else has worked the Java dl'ed via Azureus, so far the only thing that has.

No it's not. There's no mention of downloading illegal music. Plenty of bands share their copyright-free music via torrents. Let's just keep this discussion of a technical nature.

Thanks for looking out, though. :)

OK then the fact of the matter is that no matter what I try to download nothing happens and it's very annoying
