The RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) is adding another angle to its fight against online piracy by trying to encourage a legislative crackdown on peer-to-peer networks, warning that the networks are infested with child pornography.
On Tuesday, one day after filing the landmark series of lawsuits, RIAA President Cary Sherman cautioned the U.S. Senate that Kazaa could be a tool for adults to lure children into having sex. That's a VERY good reason to remove the child porn from the networks... not to dismantle the networks.

It's not like they have a vested interest in getting rid of P2P networks!?!?

The child porn is just a poorly disguised excuse for them to attack file-sharing.

Attention! Major news! Turns out that millions of drunk drivers are swerving all over the streets and killing people and causing untold millions of dollars worth of damages..

The RIAA is currently pursuing legislation to remove all streets from the nations of the world in order to curb the problem.

the child porn...i can DEFINATLY see the point ogf stopping that...but ur really stopping nothing...i mean really...the videos are already made..there is little to nothing they can do about it..instead they should go after the people who made the files etc...and then bring their ass to court...not **** everyone over who has kiddy porn...and sum kiddy porn...u dont even know how old the girls ARE!!...i mean sum 14 year olds look like their 18..easily...what if sum unexpecting pr0n viewer dls a file...of illegal 17 or 16 year old pr0n and they look like their 18 or 19
