windows xp missing part

well i had some spyware recently and i took care of it thanks to this website :D but it seems somehow that my windows xp style for like the start bar and the other things (where the start button is green and the rest is blue) was deleted from my system... is there any way of getting this back?

    did you go into the Display settings to make sure they're set right?

    Try

    My Computer - Properties - Advanced - then performance - settings

    down the bottom of that list is "use visual styles on windows and buttons" check that if it's unchecked

    oh i was thinking that was in the Advanced section of Display. yeah do that instead sry
