Ya, I just moved from community college to the real thing. So I'm signing up classes late, so I've got all the awkward times, and werid classes to sign up for.

So I'm wondering, has anyone seen like a online or downloadable college scheule planner that will help decide on which classes to take?

Thanks

MS Outlook? I don't know, I've heard a couple of my friends say it's the only reason they've managed to get through college, plus it's free with Windows.

Oh, I guess I didn't explain my self well.

I want something to help me choose which classes to sign up before the semster.

You know that sheet they give you to plan out your classes. Something like that but a computer version that will tell me all the possible combinations of the classes I want.

Purdue has its own website that does just that, but this should be handled at your own school/their site as course names/numbers/descriptions all vary at each institution.

An online version which can kind of "shuffle" the classes that you want to take in various iterations will probably be pretty hard to find as that's somewhat advanced. There's talk of it happening here, but it's years away.

USD has its own website for that kinda thing as well. They've actually made it online only at this point and gotten rid of the "oldschool" phone in registration.

You put in the class you're interested in (subject, class #, teacher, or a combination of any) and it'll spit the results back out at you. You're given the dates, times, and teachers for each.

From there is a simple ratemyprofessors.com search to find the easiest and you're in business! ;D

I used Mozilla's Outlook counterpart, SunBird or something like that, to keep myself organized with a calendar for testing dates and class schedules, to back up what Nomad said above.
