Here are the watch pictures. An over all shot, a face close up and a shot of the back, in that order for each. They are large so that even prof and mudd can see them.

As I said before these are fine well built watches.
So, are you looking of a 'mans watch' (sorry gals, I gave my daughter the Baby-G) here is your chance.

All proceeds go to the Folding Fund.
Start with a repectable price and don't be stingy.
Whoever wants to bid first start a new thread for it.
Bidding will close on the 22nd when I get into the office, that gives you two weekends.

Are the 3 faces of the top watch real or are they fake like most "non-quality" watches?

I think I heard him say that they are real and turn with the dial on the side.

You got it, the real deal (well almost).
The buttons on the side set the day and date on the Omega. And yes they all work.
The crown screws down and the back has an o-ring (for sealing).
The action has mutiple jewel bearings. But since I have never seen inside a real Speedmaster I can't make a comparision.

Did anyone notice the fact that the top watch (the Omega) says on the back that it's been "flight-oulified" for manned space missions?

Still, that being the only visible "Romex" about it, if I wore a watch, I'd bid. : )

Who knows, maybe this lab computer I'm on just doesn't display it quite right?

It does say that, but that may just be the way they write it, as some companies do insist on using stupid fonts

    Anyway, Good luck everyone.

Ok, you want to get picky.
On a real Speedmaster teh secondary dials are for the chrono, on this one they are functional day, date and 24hr.

On the GMT II Rolex, it looks right on.

Now, who is going to bid??? I brought these half way around the world just so you could look tough.

    i'm right here

i'm trying to decide which one i want

but maybe i'll just see based on the final prices.

you should just set a time that the post has to be in by for the bid to be valid.

or maybe it will eventually get to the point that no one else is interested in paying any more.
