An annoying pop-up ad in IE.

I've gotten my computer cleaned out pretty well from recent spyware / virus troubles, but there's always a few that manage to stick around. One I've had for a long time will pop up out of nowhere. In the task bar at the bottom of the screen (XP Home) it opens a tab saying "New offer for you!", and on the screen it'll open a rectangular window about half the size of the screen.

The window has nothing but white in it, but it has the standrad Internet Explorer blue border and the minimize / maximize / close window buttons in the top right.

Across the top in the blue bar it'll say "New offer for you! - Microsoft Internet Explorer".

Any idea on how to get rid of this?

And a more recent adware annoyance is these little windows that'll open up from the bottom of the screen to display some stupid ad. I just X them out but would like to never see them again either.

Run Hijackthis. Click on "Open the Misc Tools section". Next click on "Open uninstall manager".
Press the button 'save list'. It will open a Notepad file. Place the content of that file here in your in your next post.
