Inexpensive IDE RAID card for a RAID 1 setup
In the near future, I am hoping to get a RAID 1 set up just for data redundancy incase of a hard drive failure. The thing is, I want to get an inexpensive RAID card. The cheapest one I can find in Vancouver is for $30CAD, brand new.

The questions are:
1. Is there any issues with using this inexpensive card?
2. Will the sil0680a bios have any issues with the onboard sil3112 bios on my NF7-S v2.0? The chances of me using the onboard sil3112 is slim and i would like to know.
I'll probably have some RAID 1 set up questions later. Right now, I am reading up on RAID tutorials.

Well, at least answer this question for me, how is the sil0680a in terms of a RAID controller and does it have any issues with data corruption?
