A few weeks ago, Hotrodsun decided that he could no longer host SM9 and returned it to the team for reissue. Once again, Team 93 thanks him for doing a fantastic job as Host for several years.
If you meet the qualifications for hosting one of our team's SMx machines, why not sign up to be a candidate? You could be the one chosen to house this baby in your home and have that nifty extra SMx logo in your sig.
There will be a lot of new Notable Milestone celebrations for you and the rig you host, too. As of right now, this rig stands at 23,043 points; the 25K Folding Star is not far off.
The Hosting Requirements and Selection Process are available on the team page. Please look them over carefully before signing up.
If you feel you meet the requirements and are willing to sign the contract, throw your name in the hat by posting in this thread and giving us some details about your hosting conditions (connection, environment, etc.) and your computer ability that would mark you as a suitable host for this historic SMx Folding machine.

Here's the lowdown on the hardware:
SM9 Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS P3V4X
CPU: 1000 MHz Intel Pentium III
Hard Drive: Maxtor 82100D4 2.1GB
Display Adapter: NVIDIA Vanta LT
Memory: 512MB PC133
NIC: Realtek RTL8139
Case: A Brand-New Case & PSU will be shipped directly to the new host
:smokin:
This rig turned in its first WU on October 23, 2002. As you might imagine, although it was a mighty machine when first assembled it is not on a par with current computer hardware. While SM9 may not be a top point-producer these days, the next Host of SM9 will be caring for a rig that is even older than Short-Media itself. We are looking for a special person who would be proud to keep a piece of Team 93 history in their home and maintain the fine tradition that is the SMx Project.
:smokin:
Sign up soon. We will give you plenty of notice before the signup period is closed and the SMx Committee vote is taken.
As per our new policy, there are no geographical limitations on hosting eligibilty.
:smokin:
Check out The SMx Project - Reloaded! thread for more information on the project in general. If you have any parts you could spare for future SMx rigs, go here and have a look at what we need. MB's, CPU's, HD's, and Memory (PC1600 or greater) are in extremely short supply. To keep this project going we need your help.
Good luck, everybody!

We have maximusbad with his name in the hat. Who else is in?
Alright, who wants to make it a three-man race?
Somewhere behind this big boy there is a Slot 1 CPU:
Come on peeps, look at this monster!!
It would be an honor to host this machine.
