Hi guys. This is a log file of a cousin. There was something wrong with her explorer. IE couldn't run multiple windows and she thinks it might be a virus as nothing in her settings was changed. Can you guys check this out? Thanks in advance!! =)

HijackThis should be run from a permanent place on your hard drive. Please do this first: Go to C: and create a new permanent folder (call it hijackthis). Then put (or download - choose "save" not "run") the hijackthis.exe file in it (You must unzip it if it's zipped). You should now have C:\hijackthis\hijackthis.exe. Then run hijackthis by clicking this .exe file. By doing this, you will have backups if you accidentally remove the wrong item (running from a temporary folder these backups can easily get lost).

Your log seems clean to me, but I'm not an expert.

Hey chiawaikian thanks for the tip, and good to know that it looks clean! It's my cousins pc though and she's fine with no backups for now. She actually system restored her pc now and everything looks fine. Maybe it was just a settings problem? But anyway, if anyone still wants to check this out as she is worried something is left in her pc... =) thanks thanks!

Please make sure you can view all hidden files and post a new log.

Open my computer>click tools>click folder options>
click view tab>check show hidden files>uncheck hide file extensions>click apply>click OK>exit
