Repair installation messed w/ MSOffice... help!!!

Due to an error in the registry and then the ensuing problems, I recently had to go through the repair installation mode of Windows XP. Now my computer's running, but many of my programs are not technically "installed." MS Office is one of these. Before SP2 was installed, it wouldn't even run -- now it runs, I can see files, then it will give mean error informing me that Office isn't set up for this user, and it forces me to quit the application.
It's so close I can smell it! The really big downside is that I don't have the disk -- it was installed for me by my work in NYC before I left for the summer. I have to have these programs to work... is there no way to change a setting or something? I feel like it's so close yet so far... and unlike with XP, I can't find a friend who seems to have the Office version with Publisher that I have. :/

If so you can copy your documents and stuff over to the new user.
Office puts some repair utilities out in the Program files common directory. You might also check their help files to see if any of those might help the repair.
The "repair install" wasnt what jacked you over. You had registry problems BEFORE the repair install. But they were severe enough that the repair install just couldnt correct them.
