My 3DMark 2001 SE build 330 score is average : 1591

Computer Specs :
Processor : AMD Sempron 2200+
Mobo : GigaByte 7VT-600P-RZ BIOS DATE Oct,1 2004
Memory : 256 MB DDR 400 (PC3200) Kingston Memory Module
VGA : Nvidia GeForce4 MX4000 64 MB DDR
Hard Drive : Maxtor 40GB 7200rpm ATA 133
OS : Windows XP Service Pack 2 with Norton Antivirus 2005 and Norton GoBack 4.0 Active

Is that my 3DMark 2001 score is normal?

Help me, I want to play a Game with this machine!

    If you want to play games you will definetely need more RAM and then a better video card.

    it has about as much to do with it as the sempron guy wanting to play games. As long as he is playing solitare or freecell he will be able to crush games...


    other wise that system just aint got the balls for titles like BF2, which plays best on 2 gig of ram, HF2 might run on it with everthing on low @ 640x480 and you can count out doom3.

    You need waaaay more ram, and a ati9800pro or better or a geforce 6600gt or better. Then should be able to play most titles available. Id also consider a 2800 sempron, for about 350 -400 bucks you can bring that rig well into modern gaming and then some.

    Total = 378.85 but its easy for me to sit here and tell you what you need to do. I know I dont have the funds to drop like that, most dont so we make do with what we have.

    Heh heh heh, I saw that one and had to use it. but yeah, that system wont do to much in the gaming business. Sure it'd be great for apps, and email, stuff like that.
