Do you anonomize?
Due to recent RIAA actions, it seems to be in one's intrest to use anonymization to make yourself harder to track.
I've read of Freenet, which supposedly acts as a proxy, anonymization yourself ina manner which makes trhe RIAA's action's futile. Does anyone know anything about it? (http://freenet.sourceforge.net/)

However, it's nice to know there are extra/possible alternatives starting to appear to make it harder for people to track your P2P activities.
Yeah, I anonymize. I turn filesharing off, and use the newest version of K++. There are plenty of other people out there willing to share and ignore security, but I'm not one of them. It entirely depends upon what P2P source I'm using.
eDonkey, I share.
K++, I don't.
Hotline, I share.
DC++, I share.
Bearshare, I don't.
etc.
Like Spinner says, the newest version of k++ is supposed to hide you from IP adresses that the RIAA uses (I think thats how it works anyways). But whos to say the RIAA just doesnt start using different IPs from a different ISP.
I think Bit Torrent is a pretty good solution because supposedly the info that the RIAA wants cannot be tracked.
Anonymouse proxys would work though if you find a fast one. But typically those have to be scanned for. Or you can find lists of them in the underscene. But the ones on the lists are usually full real quick.
But if you use those other solutions definately share. If they keep coming up with new p2p that works, the RIAA may be forced to give up this nonsense.
Because I agreed with the topic at hand?
