Big problem

OK

Computer starts but it tells me that it can't find the browser, then it quits that and tells me that the lsass.dll file is missing. What does this mean, and how can I fix it without losing anything?

    Sounds like a spyware, virus, or trojan.

    read this first, and then post a HJT log for us to look at.

    I can't even get on this thing. It goes real slowly through the WindowsXP screen doesnt go to the log on screen and stops. Any suggestions at all to how I can get my info that I need off of it then start over?
