smit fraud, I can not access anything on my pc

Good day,a problem that is really frustrating me. :mad: My pc will boot up, but will not function in normal or safe mode. I get explorer illegal operation or fatal error caused by HTML.Smitfraud. If anyone can assist me please keep it simple as I am not an expert. Many thank's

    Thank you for getting back to me,on my pc with the problem I can access nothing. I have downloaded hiJack as you requested on my good pc, though I am struggling on how to get it working on the problem pc. Dave

    You can either save it to a floppy disk (if your computer has a floppy drive) or burn it to a CD-RW (if you have a CD Burner) to transfer it between computers. Note that you cannot run HJT from the disk, you will need to save it to the infected computer.

    This is the problem, my pc is totally locked up. I can see all the icons but nothing will respond either in normal or safe modes.

    Can you use CTRL+ALT+DEL to get into Taskmanager?

    Yes,the box shows explorer and avconsol.
