Is 10,000 rpm worth it?

Hey, I was just looking into getting a bigger hard drive, but then I thought of something else. I was looking into the western digital 10,000 rpm raptor hard drives, (or any other 10,000 rpm drives), and I was just wondering if anyone here has it, and notices a big difference.

This for example http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144200 is only 37 gigs, and costs as much as a 7200 rpm 200 gig hd. If I do get one of these I'll just put windows on it, and a few games.

Are the 10,000 rpm drives alot faster, and are they wortht he extra $.

A LOT faster? Depends on what you think A LOT faster is gonna feel like.

Picture 20 percent faster. Is that worth the price?

For a real enthusiast who values every tiny advantage... yeah. For a normal user..... get one of the new hitachi drives and you will probably hardly ever notice enough differance to matter based on the huge differance in storage capacity.
