Hey, well I posted not to long ago about which video card to get. I was looking to spend around $200, and not much more. I decided on the eVGA 128-A8-N343-AX Geforce 6800 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card, found here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130202 but I decided to wait a little, because I felt like something better might come out in the next year or so, and especially since im going to college next year. Well I spent a few weeks thinking about it, and then I decided that I want a 256mb card instead of a 128, because I will take my desktop to college, along with a laptop. Chances will be that I wont have an extra $200-250 to drop on a card while in school, so I figure i might as well get it while i have the money. o yea and i forgot to mention i NEED AGP. ;)

Alright and heres an x800 256mb for $250 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1476662&Tab=2&NoMapp=0 Just wondering, but why does it seem like the memory clock speed on all x800 series cards are slower then nvidia's?

Anyway, what do you guys think the best 256mb card for around $200-250 is. I dont know whether to get a 6800 series card, or an x800 series card. For my price range/situation, please give some suggestions, I know that over 90% of the users here are smarter than I am :D

please post links if you can. thanks
