BFG Geforce 7800 GTX OC PCI Express 256MB DDR3 Video Card w/HDTV-Out, Dual DVI & VIVO Retail $549 (Comes pre-overclocked at 460 MHz)

eVGA e-Geforce 7800 GTX PCI Express 256MB DDR3 Video Card w/HDTV-Out, DVI & VIVO Retail $539 (Comes pre-overclocked at 450 MHz and free battlefield 2)

Leadtek WinFast PX7800GTX TDH MyVIVO GeForce 7800 GTX PCI Express 256MB DDR3 Video Card w/TV-Out, DVI-I & VIVO Retail $539 (free splinter cell chaos theory)

If anyone has any opinions on which has the better fan, etc. or any opinions at all on any of the forementioned 7800's or any others on the market I'd like to get some input on them before dropping $500+ on a video card.

Thanks guys.

I'd get the eVGA card, but I can't really think of a good reason why. :D

already have bf2 though so it's not really a factor, i'm trying to see if there's a card with a better heatsink or something to that respect.

It seems like BFG is giving away free extras in the box like teflon slick pads, T shirt and Game drive software. Still doesn't help you with better fans etc. but extra goodies are always nice. ;)

Thanks for the update Winga, I don't think that's posted on any of the sales sites.

Still considering my options at this point, now that I have to get a new PSU because my current PSU is 20 pin and not 24 pin.

they make adapters. One came with my thermaltake PSU. Sometimes the motherboards work even w/o an adapter.

Someone said even with an adapter it's not compatible.

I would get the BFG because of the dual DVI.

I like the Leadtek. I always had good luck with them. The 6800GT I am running now has a massive copper heatsink all around the card, and the cooling fan, with the screen removed, is very quite. It runs in the low 40's no matter how hard i push it. ;D;D

i heard leadtek is terrible, but you're experience with them overrides my lack of.

what about that Dell deal? Is it still in effect?

edit: oh nvm I guess not. It's just on sale through Dell Small Business for $533.60 before shipping.

edit2: also definitely take advantage of the free software, and then "Do it eeeebay!"

Having a second copy of BF2 (eVga) seems like a good bet, still waiting on more anandtech reviews.

As far as my other specs that I had in mind:

Motherboard: DFI LANParty NF4 (not sure which one out of these for, someone tell me the differences besides SLI)
