Seems like I read something last week about that ULI chipset doing this. Yeah, that's pretty neat.

HA! where's that ****er who was giving me a hard time about this in that other thread?! LOOK WHOS WRONG NOW

sorry, that pissed me off at the time

this is a very cool concept, I wonder how well it (or crossfire in general) actually works

All it needs is to have SLI, an nVidia chipset AND made by a reputable manufacturer (not Gigabyte) and I'd buy it. :P

Of course nV wants everyone to dump their current AGP video cards AND motherboards, so I doubt we'll be seeing that from them.

Turns out this chipset supports both AGP AND PCIe SLI, and its very compairable in speed to the NF4. I can't wait to see what other manuf. pick up this chip.

I wouldnt use the AGP slot on that board. Its derived from the PCI bus and is horrible.

That's not what Anandtech says. Didn't you read the article?

According the the AnandTech article the AGP slot is NOT derived from PCI. It is real AGP.

Ooops, I mixed it with another. I saw the XGA in the chart and thought it was this one.
