All kinds of problems, ran Hijack

Okay, I started having weird things happening with my internet history not clearing and a Yahoo Launch would show up in the history eventhough I never went to that page. I went to delete Yahoo messenger which is where the link came from and I had a lot of trouble getting rid of it but I finally did. I ran Spy Bot with no problems found and AdAware found 3 tracing families. They were removed I restarted and I am still having the same trouble. It is alos taking longer to shut down than normal.

Another problem, when trying to uninstall Yahoo messenger in Safe Mode I could not get it to run, when I would hit F8 and enter to run in safe mode I got a list of about 20 files.

Still having the problems. When I run ad aware I get a scan that results in 6 or 7 tracking cookies. Once I clear them I can get rid of my IE history. I didn't change any of my settings to my knowledge and have never had this trouble before. I downloaded a advanced system optimizer the other day and now I am getting the list of partition/driver32 with about 20 different files names when I go into safe mode. It will eventually go into safe mode it just takes a while.
