Java and Flash problem in Internet Explorer

Well I just recently reset my computer because of spyware issues. After I finished reinstalling everything I went to internet explorer and downloaded Firefox. But somehow when I tried to install Flash and Java it messed up and now I can't view any java sites like Ebay correctly. So I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled Java and it still doesn't work. So I am guessing I should reinstalled Internet Explorer. How do I do that?

    eBay doesn't use Java (the standalone software) only Javascript, so that shouldn't have any effect on it at all...

    What (and whose) version of Java did you install?

    You might also try going to Tools>>Internet Options>>Security>>Custome Level and see what your Java settings look like. :)

    Hmmm well then it's javascript that isn't working on my computer. Any ideas on what to do?

    Nevermind it was my firewall. Thanks for help though.
