I take it this is some p2p security program, but what exactly is the point and what does it work with?

It blocks four million or more addresses from the RIAA/MPAA and affiliated groups when fully upgraded. It works on any p2p program in existence.

YES, if you mean the REAL stuff, except for artists that choose to give their work away. :POKE:

All the DoubleClicks (aka Double Click) are AD SERVERs or AD-WARE.

What you are ALSO seeing is logging by IP of any P2P activity from you to others, and vice versa, and anything that PeerGuardian is port monitoring which COULD be all connects and not just those that are RIAA.

Myself, would use Sygate Pro and block P2P ports inward and check logs, but you are not me. ComCast also probes for P2P use, BTW.

No. The government is messing with IRC.

XDCC-ISO got shut down some months ago and reopened under another channel and server, a few people are currently serving time.

Are those channel ops/owners or just major contributors?

For those who trade music files on web, to avoid certain folks who have sworn to stop this at all costs. P2P user protector of sorts.

How do you get it to do that, effectivly block the RIAA? Sounds like something useful.

bah, Comcast WOULD check for p2p users! Good thing I'm too stingy with my bandwidth to share! Oh yea, the Channel owners and large file sharers are prolly in jail. I had a few old friends get popped! Good thing I stopped IRC'n it all day a few years ago!
