Webcam? Schmebcam! Need freeware.

My cheap, little Logitech webcam came with some software.
One of the programs allows one to set up the camera to take pictures every five-ten minutes and then upload that image automatically to an FTP server, which is pretty cool, and when I found out about it, I was looking forward to starting my own webcame on my webpage.
Here's the thing:
The program uplads the image to a specific FTP site, which I would have to pay to be a member of. It wont allow me to change where I want the files to be sent... This seemds very silly to me, as it would have been easier to write a program that allowed the user to enter any FTP site, than one that only uploads to a specific site, which means that Logitech is obviouslyu in cahoots with the pay-for-webcam site...
Which is disapointing. I used to trust Logitech...
Anyway. Does anyone know of a Freeware program that will do what I want?
