WEB SITE <a href="http://www.notforidiots.com/GPURW.php&quot; target=_blank>NotForIdiots.com</a> is claiming that the Nforce chipset for Intel processors is set to both support PCI Express and Socket T – a different kind of socket Chipzilla will introduce next year.

According to the site, Nvidia has been able to make Nforce style chipsets work perfectly well with Intel microprocessors in the past.

As we reported at the end of last month, it's just feasible that Nvidia might be able to get a licence for Pentium 4 and successor technology from its close foundry partner IBM, which would certainly make a difference in the cutthroat world of chipsets.

The same web site reported earlier this year that what's been nicknamed the <b>Nforce 5 will support DDR 2, 800/1066MHz front side buses</b>, 802.11b wireless, and surround sound, as well as the NV3X graphics core.
