Source: Short-MediaAt first sight, you get the hint that the IE 7 team was not spending too much time working on the graphics layer of this project. IE 7 lost of a few of the icons within the main task bar which now only includes the forward and back button. The other icons, such as the home page, favorites, history and print, now are located on a separate task bar below the tabs. These icons have shrunk in size though they still look exactly the same as they do IE 6. Though the new placement of the icons may look awkward at first, they do diminish the area that the task bar used to occupy which means that the actual web page content has more room for viewing.
