Updated BIOS, why do i ever bother? now no settings will save
ok i have an ASUS P4C800-E deluxe mobo with a 2.8 chip in it and i was having some problems with my hard drives talking to each other so i thought ok ill update my BIOS as a start its a year old.. everytime ive updated a bios before its been a nightmare but this one autoupdates in windows and does it for you so what could happen? well it updated it.. but now when i go into BIOS and change something then save settings and exit my monitor goes to powersaving and nothing happens?? also i was overclocked to 3.10 Ghz from 2.9 (since i bought rig) and with new bios it just says "overclocking failed blah blah" and i have to revert to old settings. nothing will save in BIOS. i HATE computers. that is all
