Apple's Multi-Button Mouse

In some rather shocking news, Apple has decided to finally release a multi-button mouse. The cute little thing is dubbed "Mighty Mouse" and has four main features.

Like its namesake, Mighty Mouse puts powerful precision in a pint-sized package. With all its clicking capability tucked neatly under the seamless top shell, Mighty Mouse boasts drop-dead good looks, too. And then there’s that ingenious Scroll Ball — the tiniest such mechanism ever used in an input device. No wonder it’s a wonder.
Must restrain... myself...

 Gee, go figure. Apple is 20+ years behind the power curve here, and still act like they discovered how to make gold from lead. :wtf:

Mighty Mouse even sounds as good as it feels. The audio feedback built into Mighty Mouse provides an aural sensation that responds to your movements. When you scroll or click, Mighty Mouse produces subtle sound effects based on your actions.
So let's see, it makes a (no-doubt irritating) noise to tell you what you just did. (As if you didn't already know.)

Reminds me of my ex-wife.

It's natural for a company to brag about its products, but Apple's "half-truth" press releases are beyond sycophantic.

And how long will it take for them to sell a million of these things, with every one of their core enthusiasts gushing about what a breakthrough achievement this is... :p

Reminds me of when Apple sued Microsoft for copying their GUI that Apple copied from Xerox's PARC Lab....
