cant reformat

i have tryed posting twice now, im getting tired of typing out same thing, so heres my problem, i have an e machine T2260, i cant reformat, but have twice before. Now i get a message sayings something about a ghost, and it wont reformat, anyone out there ever get this, and if so what did you do to fix it?

    Ghost? Is your computer ghosted from another? Sometimes permissions are set on a ghosted computer using deep freeze to keep the user from messing with system files.

    Would booting from a dos disk allow him to format regardless of deep freeze? I've never heard of that.

    low level format the drive using active@ killdisk (it's free). It will zero out the drive, erasing EVERYTHING. Then you can format away.
