Members can't edit own thread!

Lots of moderators don't know that members CANNOT edit their own threads (like the title). I really would like this to be enabled. It would be very handy to be able to do that on your own in the Depot instead of having to ask a mod to do it.

Yes you can in that forum. From the DD&TP rules:
    11. If your item sells, or if you find what you're looking for, please edit the thread title and your opening post with ///////SOLD///////////, ////FOUND/////, or some such readily noticeable indicator.

Well I can't. When I go to Thread Tools > Edit Thread, it blocks me out. I've tried it many times and talked to many moderators about this issue.

i think you do it by editing the title of your first post. So try editing the first post.

You can edit the thread's title, as it appears in the forum, only for two minutes after posting. You do this by clicking the "edit" button on your first post. After that, it will only edit the little bolded subheading above your post. This is a pretty standard setting on forums and the staff is pretty well aware of it.

For the DD&TP, marking the item in your post and in the bolded subheading is good enough. A moderator will fix the title for you if they feel it's necessary. If you need a thread title changed in any area because of a typo, etc., just PM a moderator in that area or a supermod. :)
