Is there a plug-in for Windows Media Player 9 that will allow me to stream content made for winamp or realplayer?

Just checking but do you mean sending the audio out, i.e. a server, or do you mean to listen to the music?

Oh, in that case, you don't need a plug-in, it's built in.

If the address is something like......

    http://www.eggs.com:2198/playlist.pls

then go to the `File` Menu in WMP9 and select `Open URL`.

Then just paste the first part of the URL into the box i.e.

    http://www.eggs.com:2198

    and it should connect.

If that doesn't work, try the full address or try open file and use the full address, but the first option should work.

(It did sound like you were talking about a server in the first place which is why everyone said no :) )

I guess the servers that I want to listen to don't like windows media. Because the method you are suggesting isn't working. :(

What is the address that you are trying to listen in on?

    http://radiostorm.com/80s128gw.pls

It works for real, but not for windows media. It's suppose to be winamp only from what I understand.

Na, doesn't work on WMP9 here either, still not sure why. Highly doubt its a codec issue though.

I use Real Player for streaming audio too so I would stick with that.
