As far as I know all my settings are DEFAULT, I am running 4X and have my apurature at 128MB in my BIOS. AA, AF, and all that is off or on default settings.

The above link should give enough info I think on my system.

I cannot tell what is going on...

    Actually, for a ti4600 and a p4, that's just about right.

You'd be able to add 1-2k or so if you turned down texture quality to absolute minimum and applied a few tweaks like everyone else does.

HAHAHA! Hell no, not even close man, no offence... but I was getting 13K to 14K on my system before, and now I am running even faster speeds than before, I should be cooking in at over 14K right now.

Then check the usual. Bios settings, vsync, memory timings, try new drivers, etc.

Just did that, increaed my memory timing(had them on auto) put them at 2-6-3-3... messed withs ome other stuff, I got 9333 points.

I also noticed NVidia's ever popular "optimizations" while running the benchmark. I oculd see a couple squares on like the boat and in that square it wasvery nice and clean looking, butthe rest of the boat looked like a smeared drawing. Ugh...

Still, something is wrong.... that is fact.

BTW I don't lower quality, I want my games to run and look great. I have _never_ run 3D mark with low quality settings. For one, I am not out for the highest score... and two, I use this benchmarking stuff to test my system to make sure I am running correctly.

I just reformatted my system and all that a few days ago, and didn't benchmark until today.

For starters, try matching your color depth in bits to your Z-buffer depth, or set your color depth to "16 bit" and leave the z-buffer depth as is. I need a public link to detailed data, cannot run your bench on a linux box (which is the ONLY thing I surf on).

Next thing, double your RAM to 512 MB or 1 GIG. A 128 MB card can cause a 128 MB RAM drag if the aperture is set in BIOS to 128 MB.

Faster boxes push more data, lots more, and if RAM gets busy box will swap and that slows down a lot of things, and BIOS CAN dynamicly adjust aperture for RAM squeezing.

You lost me man, I dunno where my Z buffer settings are. Also, I have 512MB of DDR running 418Mhz 2-6-3-3, I may be able to set it faster... but it sounds to me like you think I have a measely 128MB or 256MB... hehe, no gaming rig would be good on that small amount. Yeah I need 1GB though, PS is crazy wild with memory.

Anyways, I hit 13K and found out the problem(had to reinstall the AGP drivers), however I should be at 14K becuase I was at 13,880 or so the last time I benched, which was when DX8.1 was still out. I'm running everything updated and faster speeds too.

I can't settle with anything less than 14K, this is the reason I upgraded.
