Im thinking of updating my chip set drivers to the latest and greatest however, ive never done this. Should this even be performed? DO I need to reinstall Windows? Should I uninstall the older chip set or will the driver overwrite and delete the older version? I have no problem with the grgaphics drivers, ive updated them several times. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My system is:

Gigabyte GA-K8NS Ultra 939 BIOS F5 (HTTL @ 1920MHz)
AMD Athlon64 3200+ Winchester s939 @ 2.4GHz (240Mhz x 10)
OCZ Premier Series PC3500 @ 480MHz (2.5-3-3-7 1T)
XFX GForce 6600 GT AGP 128Mb @ 550MHz/1.1GHz
2 x Maxtor SATA 120GB (No RAID Configuration)
ThermalTake Noise Taker 420w PSU

There shouldn't be any trouble with just installing the newer driver. If for some reason you run into trouble, make sure you have a restore point to fall back on. I doubt you'll need it, though. :)
