Messenger Service?

I have a porblem, the title is Messenger Service...

It said: Message from SYSTEM to ALERT on 6/8/05 17:02:04

Microsoft Windows has encountered an Internal Error, Your windows registry is corrupted.

I have posted a thread in september, 2004(because i have this porblem) and you guys help me out... i forgot the command to disable this service, so can you guys give me the command again...

Because my computer is not register with microsoft, so after 30 days, i need to reinstall the window each month...
It smooth that no this porblem occur but when i reinstall the computer this time, the porblem occur again...

Is this messenger service randomly choose a computer to give a message to the user???

(My english is very bad, hope you all know what i am saying...)

    Little freeware app to help that :)

    Otherwise you can do it manually by going to the Windows Control Panel-> Administrative Tools -> Services

    Find the messenger service, right click "stop". Then disable it.

    yeah just disable it in Services. I've done that to all of our computers. Just double-click on Messenger and set the start-up to Disabled or Manual, whichever you want.
