4 in 1 drivers for kt7 raid

edited August 2005 in Science & Tech
Sorry so short all. I had a longer post but didnt realize I wasn't logged in. Therefore, when I submitted the post it was lost as I was redirected to the login screen. Anyway looking for some help in figuring out what 4 in 1 driver set to install for my old KT7 Raid (lemon) mobo. I've had to pull it out of mothballs as my gaming laptop decided to crap the bed on me. I'm hoping that during the time my old tower has been in hibernation Via may have come up with a good driver set that solves all the problems inherent in the KT7 chipset. Any help or suggestions would be more then welcome. I surely would hate to go thru the dreaded process of elimination method to find a good set of drivers.

As for my dead Sager laptop, thats fodder for another thread.

Thanks ahead of time.

Robert

    Hola,

Thanks for the quick reply guys. Managed to find "recommended" drivers on Abits site. However, I've been down the recommended road before so I'll do a bit of praying before I start. It seems from all the posts I've read on Via Arena and elsewhere Via never really perfected the KT7 chipset. Bummer. What really gauled (sp) me was the reviews the various tech sites gave the mobo when it was first released. Anandtech and Toms' Hardware gave it glowing reviews. What a crock.

Anyway, thanks again and wish me luck. Damn the electrostatic discharge...we're going in.

I had one of those boards back in the day, never had a problem with it. Most people didn't. Problems tend to get more airplay than successes.
