The Swiftech team should be commended for doing what no other heatsink manufacturer has been able to accomplish, and that is to develop a heatsink that has the flexibility of being the new world leader in both the Extreme Air Cooling category and the ever growing Quiet Air Cooling category.
By purchasing one heatsink, the MCX462-V you can have either, just by changing the fan you use and that can not be said of the previous quiet air cooling leader, oh, you may adjust the fan speed, but you’ll never be able to reach the performance level Swiftech has attained with the MCX462-V.

That's a pretty sweet looking cooler.
It might just keep a few people from going to watercooling.
MCX462-V here we come.
For comparison:
Systemcooling's test of an Athlon XP 2800+ running on an SLK-900 was ~9*C hotter than the MCX462-V!
Dammit! I don't need one and I STILL almost bought one! The Swiftech MCX-V is one damn sexy piece of Metal!
You got that right, Omega!
