Logitech Mouse Recharge Problem

I have a Cordless Click Plus mouse, which is seemingly better than my ol' MX700 which had a similar issue BTW.

When it needs to recharge I put it on it's stand, but the LED on it won't turn green showing it's recharging unless I lick the contacts. ;D So yeah, I checked it over just now, it seems the contacts are in fact contacting.... but the LED won't turn green to show it's recharging. Unless of course I lick the contacts.... which is just wierd.

As I said, I had a similar problem with the MX700. Is this common? Is this a real problem?

I have to lick my mx700 too. If it works, it works.

//EDIT: It's just a poor connection between the contacts after so many insert/removal. Friction.

Clean then lightly with sandpaper (not too much, or you'll make too big of a gap) or just some rubbing alcohol. Licking the contacts just makes more conductive surface area contact.
