Which Vid Card

Which would be the better video card, a 9800 pro AIW with 256 bit memory access and 128 mb of DDR memory (680 mem/380 gpu) or a 6800 GT with 128 bit access and 128 mb of GDDR3 memory but faster speeds (900 mem,500 gpu) is there any noticeable difference in the memory types. im just wondering if the 9800 would have better performance because it is 256 bit.
i also really like the aiw about the card but seeing as it is a pretty old card, i wanted to get the x700 but its only available in pci-e and im needing an AGP 4x/8x card. yet me know if there is a better performing card for $200 or less. i'm looking for a card right around $200
Thx

are you talking about a 6600gt? they are 128mb, 128bit and around or less than $200.
if so, the 6600gt is still going to be faster than the 9800pro, but the 9800pro has the AIW goodness. so really you need to decide if you will be mostly playing games (6600gt) or watching/recording tv (9800pro AIW).

Also be aware that the ATI X800GT video card (8pipes 256bit memory) will be released soon (if not already) and it's 10-15% faster than the 6600 GT. Price Range is expected to be $140-$160 for 128MB & 256MB versions
