5900 vs. 9800

I found this weird, when I first looked at the images, I didn't look at the names of the 2, I didn't notice it at the top since it was cut off.

So after seeing the 2 images on the rollover I was thinking the 5900 rendered image was the 9800 and vice versa...

I am shocked to see that in fact with the new drivers, the 5900 looks better than the 9800 on this slide even though it is somewhatdarker.

The only things I can think of are:

It's an accident, the 5900 even gets twice as many FPS. Settings may be different for the 2 cards, and while it may be impossible to get them exactly the same due to different manufacturer settings and such... it could be a mistake?

NVidia optimized this benchmark knowing it's screen shot capabilities...

Or... perhaps, NVidia has learned it's lesson? Actually put out some worthy drivers and these new ones are nice?

Ohh yeah, and I forgotto addd that even though the scene appears lower in gamma, you can actually see more of the ibjects, such as the fallen pillar like object in the bottom left.

Note the grass too, it blends in well!

Perhaps they mixed the 2 screenshots up with tehcards by accident LOL.

Damn my grammar is horrible this morning...red bull sould help.
