TNT2 M64 vs Intel 915GM
I don't know if you guys remember me but I'm just gna ask my question anyway.
I've been using a TNT M64 over the past goodness knows how many years, and will be replacing my system with an IBM notebook, using the on-board graphics on the 915GM (Sonoma) chipset. I'm wondering how the two compare in terms of 3D graphics performance - I am aware neither were really designed for gaming, but my curiosity has overcame my restraint to ask any silly questions.
Anyone got a clue?

Here's the info on the 915GM graphics capability:

I bet the laptop could probably almost outdo the m64 simply doing complete software (ie on cpu) rendering. The 915GM, does apparently do hardware 3d rendering so it should throughly crush the m64 .
Here's a review as well:

Here's the goods on the M64 in quake III (which is also given in the previous review)

It would appear the 915GM does win .. at least in Quake III :P. I don't think you'll find many newer M64 reviews.
