Here's another.
Kids PC (again  ). I'm trying to get some stuff out that Spybot S&D won't so I want to run regedit. A box pops up informing me that it is not suitable for MSDOS mode (or something like that) I can run it on my PC but not the kids. Any idea how I can get it on?
Cheers guys.

Before you go for smacking about the registry manually, have you used HijackThis to see if it finds the offending HKEYs?

Else, sometimes nastier spyware mucks with Regedit, I'd try regedt32, just to see if it fails differently.

    Thanks Jonsey,
Hijack this didn't find them, (I think).
Spybot tells me where they are, I just need to get in to the registery to get at them.
Kids are batteling on CoD at the mo, but I will try that. Thanks again.

    What OS?

Can you run it with an admin account? Try going into the windows folder and launching it from the exe file maybe.
