    This is only really a deal if you need large space/drive ratios. You can get smaller (200, 250) drives for under $0.50/GB - some are under $0.33 even.

    I just bought a 320gig for $130... that comes out to, what, $0.40/gig, which is pretty good for that size (I think). That was after MIR.

    I've always wanted 2 500 gig harddrives, just for pure bragging rights ;D It'd be such a waste of money for me, though. This 320 took 22 gigs of filesystem space. That's crazy!
