The gap has been growing and growing, but it looks like we've finally got P2P-community off of our tails.
Good work everybody! Looks like the recruitment efforts are paying off

I noticed this as well. Yahooooooo!!! Kiiiick Ass!!!
dj: Depends on the type of WU and the CPU speed.
From your sig (1 WU and 2 Points) it looks like the first one errored out.
What does that entail?
dj - your error was probably from starting and stopping the service while you were trying to get it worked out. Check your other thread where I told you how to get Electron Microscope (EMIII) going. That will give you an estimated time of completion for your WU's.
Okay I have EMIII I just don't know how to use it.
Reinstalled.
I'm at 385 / 400 on protein 393.
Now I'm curious, I have two computers in my house connected to the internet.
One is connected to my router, which is connected to modem 1.
The other is connected to modem 2.
Both modems are motorola cable modems.
Now they're not networked, so I'm curious if there's a way to monitor the progress of computer #2 through computer #1 if they're not on LAN.
It's not really necessary, it's already hooked up to the other modem, why pay for a wireless ethernet on that pc when I don't have to?
I ended up disabling it on my other pc, pending a full re-install.
Heck wireless routers are just as cheap as non-wireless routers.
Plus, can you have both computers on the internet at the same time? And they arent networked the way you have it.
We had both modems before I had the router.
We only got the router so we could wirelessly hook up a "work" laptop to the internet.
The "network" was never needed for anything else because the unnecessary 2nd line of internet was coming to our house for free from "work".
So when we cancelled the 2nd line, we kept the modem and used that instead of buying anything additional.
It sounds crazy, and ridiculous, but in the end both PC's do run on the internet at the same time, it's essentially like splitting the line directly to each modem instead of through a router.
Congrats Team!!!! Now we just need to kick CustomPC off our list and start getting on Team MacOS X.
!!! GO TEAM !!!
BTW: At our current pace, August will be our best month ever. :celebrate
We need to be #1. :P
