Are you using a pop-up stopper or ad-blocker? In strict mode some of them can stop images from loading.

You might want to run a couple of different spyware scans, too. Spybot and Ad-Aware are free and a good place to start. You can get them at our Security Download area.

No pop up blocker being used and i can't download spybot because I can't see the code. ad-aware found nothing.

Have you tried another browser (like Firefox)?

If they work there you'll know it's an IE problem. :)

It says in the progress bar at the bottom that it is downloading images but 30 minutes later there is still nothing.

Don't have another browser. It's a company computer.

check the IE settings to see if its blocking something I guess. If that fails, talk sense into the company and tell them to start using FF.

Check your security settings. If this is a company computer they may have disabled that function at the admin level.

That used to happen to me with my old Celeron. I could fix it by just rebooting the computer. Has restarting not worked for you?
